Spectator Expectations: Families and fans are reminded that sportsmanship and positive support are expected at all MVU athletic events.
Attendance Matters: Student-athletes are expected to attend all practices and games unless excused in advance by the coach. Availability and preparation impact playing time.
Football WorkoutsA reminder: Optional football weight room workouts continue Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00–4:30 PM.
Spring football practices are tentatively scheduled to begin
Monday, March 16 – Thursday, March 19
3:30–5:30 PM
Practices will take place in the gym or outdoors, depending on weather. Athletes should come prepared for either setting.
Academic, Attendance & Eligibility ExpectationsStudent-athletes must be in their assigned class during academic periods. Roaming the building during class time—especially for extended periods and without a pass—may result in write-ups and being marked unexcused.
Please note:
Being marked unexcused for any portion of the school day results in athletic ineligibility for that day’s events.
Arriving late to school, unless properly excused (doctor’s appointments, verified appointments, etc.), may also result in ineligibility for athletic participation that day.
These expectations apply to all student-athletes and all athletic programs.
Spring Sports InformationPitchers & Catchers (HS Baseball & Softball) report on March 23 (times TBD).
All other high school spring sports officially begin March 30.
Athletic registration will likely open sometime in February. More information will be shared once registration is live.

This guide will help with some things like setting up practices etc. You don't need to worry about setting up the roster as that should be done for you.
As a Coach using the app, you can now add guardians (grandparents, step parents etc.) to be able to get information from the team app.
